Dave Pettit

Dave Pettit
Following education and an initial career in electronics design, Dave's sales career started with Tektronix Inc, a major American multinational corporation, selling complex systems. There followed a classic progression to District Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, then Business Unit General Manager with some Marketing Manager experience along the way.

Dave also started the UK subsidiary of a U.S. software company from scratch, achieving a market leading position within 3 years, and held a number of board positions in multinational companies. The common element in of all these roles was leading sales organisations through change.

Dave left the boardroom 7 years ago and began the consultancy which evolved into Sales Insight Ltd.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management and a faculty member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing; he also has associations with a number of world-class consultancy organisations.

Martin Jowett

Martin Jowett

Martin's career to date has been spent primarily in customer facing roles and spans over 20 years. During this period Martin has held positions in Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Customer Operations/Service. Martin's responsibilities have covered a range of roles from bag carrying Sales Person, Area Manager, Country Manager, European Area Manager through to Executive Director and Managing Director.

Much of Martin's time has been spent in high tech industries such as electronic systems, computing, software, Internet and Telecommunications, with organisations such as Tektronix, ntl:, Nildram, Bulldog Communications and Cable & Wireless.

In all cases he has been involved in the recruiting, assessment, training and coaching of individuals with the aim of delivering and exceeding the required customer expectation, the plan and the growth of both the business and the individuals within it.

During his career, Martin has earned a reputation for developing small and medium size business and key start-up divisions within larger organisations. Delivering strong customer acquisition, customer satisfaction, revenue growth and subsequent profitability.

Colin Perks

Colin Perks
Colin's early career with W H Smith, Granada Publishing and Photo Precision was marked by rapid promotions. Not only did Colin personally achieve great sales results during this time, he also inspired his teams to excel.

Colin moved to join one of the world's leading sales and sales management training organisations, as a Sales Management Consultant. Here he built and developed a substantial client base, yielding a six-figure turnover on an annual basis. In this role Colin sold and delivered a range of 'off the shelf' and bespoke Sales and Sales Management programmes. Clients spanned a plethora of industries including: Catering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Commercial banking, Recruitment, Transport & Logistics, Manufacturing, Selling to Retail, Leisure Industries e.g. Airlines, Hotels, Travel Agents and Security.

More recently Colin has worked alongside a number of highly respected organisations in the field of Sales & Sales Management consultancy. Besides a heavy involvement in his main passion of sales training, he also gets involved in assessing sales organisations and the implementation of Best Practice programmes. He has been working with Sales Insight Ltd since 2001.

Jane Pace

Jane Pace
Jane's career began in nursing and midwifery before she retrained as a personal secretary. Working in both the computer and data communications industries and her roles included project costing and management, budget control and admin support.

More recently, Jane has gained experience in sales and marketing. She has strengthened her skills in sales management and analysis and financial management. Jane is responsible for client liaison and project management for Sales Insight. She also provides administrative, financial and marketing support.

Jane's qualifications include, BSc Hons Mathematical Sciences, Diploma in Statistics, Certificate in Accounting, Certificate in Management Studies.
